The Whales

Abundant marine life exists in the waters surrounding southern Vancouver Island, home to the largest concentration of Killer Whales (Orcas) in close proximity to a large population centre.

In addition, visitors can see Harbour and Dalls porpoises, Pacific White Sided dolphins, Stellar Sea Lions, Elephant and Harbour Seals, Minke/Gray/Humpback Whales and abundant sea birds that live in the area, including bald eagles. Whale vocalizations can be heard over the WildCat's hydro-phone system.
